Description:
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Backend Developer (Node.js + AWS) with strong expertise in backend development, databases, and cloud-native applications to build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Design and manage RESTful APIs (GraphQL knowledge is a plus).
- Work with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services (CloudFormation, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM).
- Ensure scalability, performance, and security across backend systems.
- Collaborate with frontend and product teams for seamless API integration.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript/Node.js (TypeScript is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Proficiency in NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Solid understanding of API development best practices.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (CloudFormation, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM).
- Familiarity with Git and Agile workflows.
