Description:
We are looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer who can design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure from scratch, and lead the transition of systems from MVP to production-grade deployments.
This is a high-impact role requiring both hands-on execution and architectural thinking, with a strong focus on scalability, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure from scratch for SaaS applications
- Build and manage deployment architecture for multi-environment setups (dev, staging, production)
- Lead MVP to production transitions, ensuring reliability, scalability, and minimal downtime
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar)
- Architect systems with high availability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization
- Implement and enforce security best practices (VPC design, IAM roles, encryption, access control)
- Ensure data protection standards, including encryption at rest and in transit, and secure API handling
- Configure and manage networking components (VPC, subnets, load balancers, routing, NAT, firewalls)
- Handle ports, protocols, ingress/egress rules, and secure communication between services
- Design infrastructure for real-time systems (WebSockets, streaming, low-latency applications)
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (CloudWatch or equivalent)
- Optimize infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance
- Work closely with internal teams on architecture decisions and system design
- Participate in client-facing technical discussions when required
Mandatory Requirements:
- 5–6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer / AWS Engineer
- Proven experience in building scalable SaaS application deployment architectures from scratch
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFront, API Gateway, etc.)
- Experience in designing production-grade infrastructure (MVP to Production transition)
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (ports, protocols, firewalls, routing)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
- Expertise in Docker and containerized deployments
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance-ready architecture
- Experience with high-availability and scalable systems
