As a Senior Accountant at IDEMIA, you will be entrusted with a wide array of financial responsibilities. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial records, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance leadership and cross-functional teams, to ensure timely and efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliation of accounts and finalization of ledgers.

• Monitor day-to-day accounting functions such as accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

• Ensure compliance with taxation laws and prepare reports for audits and tax submissions.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning.

• Work with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audit processes.

• Continuously seek process improvements and contribute to automation and digitization initiatives within finance operations.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

• Proven experience (4–7+ years) in a senior accounting or finance role.

• Strong understanding of financial systems, controls, and reporting.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
