Brighta is a fast-growing B2B marketing agency (HubSpot Platinum) working with construction, industrial, and manufacturing brands across Australia & New Zealand. We’re hiring an SEO Specialist who can deliver measurable growth in rankings, traffic, and conversions beyond old-school SEO. What you’ll do
- Own SEO strategies end to end, aligned to client objectives and growth goals.
- Run technical SEO audits and fixes (CWV, crawlability, structured data, mobile usability, site speed).
- Drive entity-based optimisation to build topical authority and E-E-A-T.
- Adapt for AI-driven search (AI Overviews/SGE) to maximise visibility.
- Lead off-page programs: quality backlinking, digital PR, brand mentions.
- Partner with content, design, and dev to optimise UX + SEO together.
- Perform keyword and entity research, guide internal linking and content architecture.
- Implement local SEO: GBP (GMB) optimisation, citations, location schema.
- Build and maintain schema (FAQ, Product, Service, Review, LocalBusiness).
- Set up and validate tracking (GA4, GTM, GSC) and report actionable insights.
- Collaborate via Slack & ClickUp, contribute ideas, and continuously improve processes.
What you’ll bring
- 3–5 years’ hands-on experience in SEO across technical, on-page, off-page, and entity/structured data.
- Proven agency experience with North American and/or Australian clients.
- Clear experience adapting strategies for AI Overviews (SGE) and modern SERP features.
- Strong toolset: GA4, GSC, GTM, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog (entity/schema tools a plus).
- Local SEO expertise: GBP optimisation, citations, NAP consistency.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into decisions and ROI.
- Excellent English communication—confident presenting strategy and results to stakeholders.
- CMS experience: WordPress, Shopify, Webflow.
- Proactive, adaptable, and hungry to stay ahead of SEO and AI-led search changes.
