Salary:
$250–$400 base salary range. This role is primarily commission-based, meaning the majority of your earnings will be tied to your performance. The potential earnings of an SDR can significantly increase based on your success and results.
Overview:
As a SDR/Appointment Setter at Freight Genie, you will play a pivotal role in bringing in qualified appointments/meetings for our clients. This position involves proactive outreach to potential prospects through cold calls. Your primary goal will be to generate new business opportunities by effectively communicating the value of the services, handling objections, booking appointments/meetings for our clients, and ensuring that prospects attend the meetings as scheduled.
In this role, you will contribute to strategy development and look for proactive techniques to drive the team’s success and to bring in more meetings for clients.
Heads up: If you don’t hit your daily KPI for booked meetings, you’ll stay an extra hour to strive for it. That’s the standard. We don’t do average here—just effort, output, and results.
Responsibilities:
Conduct high volume of outbound calls to prospects, introducing a suite of services and effectively handling objections to ultimately book meetings.
Generate meetings and identify new business opportunities through high volume cold calling.
Collaborate with the marketing team to refine scripts and strategies for bringing in more meetings through cold calling.
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for outbound calls, lead generation, and qualified booked meetings.
Provide regular reports on call activity, lead status, and outcomes.
Contribute to the development of lead generation strategies and outreach techniques.
Assist in the creation and implementation of cold call scripts and outreach strategies.
Act as a liaison between the outreach team and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Qualifications:
Proven experience of 2+years in cold calling, appointment setting, or a related sales role.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle objections and effectively convey product benefits.
Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
