Scrum Master

Description:

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a Scrum Master to join their team. This role is responsible for leading an agile team, helping maximize efficiencies, facilitating team events, and ensuring that Agile practices are implemented correctly. The Scrum Master will also collaborate with Product Owners, Technical leads, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and prioritized features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Servant Leader to the agile team, educating and coaching teams on Agile practices.

• Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Planning, Refinement sessions, Iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Collaborate with Product Owner and Technical Leads to define business problems and product features.

• Identify and manage risks and dependencies within and across scrum teams.

• Ensure transparency in team communication and facilitate the delivery of customer value.

• Work with the team to identify and implement improvements in Agile execution.

• Oversee quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Promote continuous improvement in structure, processes, and tools.

What We’re Looking For:

• Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years working in an agile environment as Scrum Master.

  • CSM Certified.

  • Strong customer focus with problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with testing at unit, integration, and system levels.

• Desirable:

  • Experience with Agile/Lean practices like XP or Kanban.

  • Practice of Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery.

  • A-CSM/CSP-SM Certified.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or Operations.
