Description:
As an SAP Interface Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP interfaces to enable smooth data flow between SAP and non-SAP systems. You will collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and technical teams to deliver robust, reliable, and efficient integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, REST, SOAP, etc.).
- Work with SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), and other middleware tools to build and manage integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical interface designs.
- Perform unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve interface issues to ensure continuous business operations.
- Document interface processes, configurations, and technical specifications for reference.
- Stay up to date with SAP integration technologies and recommend improvements.
Requirements & Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in SAP interface development.
- Strong expertise in ABAP development for interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or SAP BTP integration services.
- Knowledge of integration protocols (OData, REST, SOAP, SFTP, APIs).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to collaborate with functional/technical teams and communicate effectively.
