This role involves prospecting, selling trucking services, and building relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition & Sales:

  • Prospect and sell trucking services to existing and new clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients.
    Negotiation & Deal Closing:
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals in a competitive sales environment.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets regularly.
    Market & Industry Analysis:
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulations (FMCSA guidelines).
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement.
    Collaboration & Strategy:
  • Work closely with internal teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM software and sales tools for tracking leads and customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Sales experience in the trucking or transportation industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
  • Experience with transportation management systems.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday with occasional evening or weekend work.
