Sales Promotion Officer

 

Description:

3 or more years of travel industry experience in similar roles

Responsibility:

  1. Responsible for handling in bound calls in a professional and efficient manner
  2. Reservation for hotel and create itinerary and local attraction for tour.
  3. Manage regular travel company daily operations
  4. Provide general secretarial support in overall office operations, assignments, and projects
  5. Provide service to customers by answering questions, providing information, making referrals and assuring appropriate follow-through and/or resolution
  6. Increasing brand awareness and market share through various marketing techniques.
  7. Liaison with social media marketing expert for impactful marketing
  8. Establishing the annual and monthly sales objectives in relation to the company’s business plan and monitor the progress, reporting on it monthly.
  9. Work with management to create new opportunities for growth.
  10. Account managing and retaining a portfolio of key clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  11. Implementing marketing strategies by collecting client feedback, studying market trends and conducting competitors’ analysis.
  12. Developing and sustaining long-lasting relationships with customers.
  13. Calling potential customers to explain company products and encourage purchases
  14. Maintaining an accurate record of all sales, scheduled customer appointments, and customer complaints
  15. Informing product developers of possible product improvements and changes to ensure that company products meet current market needs.
  16. Preparing cost-benefit analyses for prospective and existing customers to determine the most suitable purchase options.
  17. Analyzing competitors' products to determine product features, benefits, shortfalls, and market success.
  18. Manage B2B and B2C sales
  19. negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  20. advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions
  21. create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process, which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
  22. Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
  23. Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  24. Performing other duties when needed

Skills:

  • A track record of sales within inbound tour industry.
  • A self-starter attitude with a confident and personable nature.
  • Willing to travel to key markets for monthly sales trips and events.
  • Fluent in English would be desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of sales strategies and industry regulations.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Salary Info:

Salary plus bonus. The combined amount is referred to as on-target earnings (OTE).
