Sales & Operations Officer

 

Description:

Southport Logistics (Pvt) is looking for a motivated Logistics Sales Officer to support and grow our transport and 3PL business in Karachi.

 

The role involves customer coordination, daily vehicle placement, rate follow-up, market checking, customer retention, and supporting the company in improving transport profitability.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Handle existing customers and develop new transport business.

 

Coordinate daily vehicle placement with customers and operations team.

 

Follow up on rates, loading plans, trip status, and customer requirements.

 

Maintain strong communication with customers, vendors, drivers, and internal teams.

 

Track market rates and support management in improving margins.

 

Prepare daily updates regarding customer activity, vehicle placement, and pending leads.

 

Assist in recovery follow-up where required.

 

Work actively to grow the 3PL transport business.

 

Requirements

 

Minimum Intermediate / Bachelor’s preferred.

 

Experience in logistics, transport, freight, 3PL, sales, or customer coordination preferred.

 

Good communication and follow-up skills.

 

Basic computer knowledge, Excel/WhatsApp/email handling.

 

Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with multiple parties.

 

Must be based in Karachi.
