Description:
We are seeking a technically skilled and target-driven Sales Engineer with strong knowledge of industrial automation components including PLCs, HMIs, Servo Motors, and Servo Drives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their automation needs, and offering suitable technical solutions to grow sales in industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in manufacturing, OEMs, system integrators, and industrial automation sectors.
- Promote and sell automation products such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, Servo Motors, Servo Drives from leading brands.
- Maintain strong technical knowledge to effectively demonstrate and support products.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Work closely with internal teams for pricing, logistics, and technical support.
- Provide feedback on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and client visits as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial automation product sales.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, Servo systems, and motion control products.
- Existing customer network in manufacturing or industrial sectors is a plus.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with brands like Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta, Omron, Schneider, ABB, Panasonic, Yaskawa, etc.
