Responsibilities:

  • Generate qualified leads through various outbound channels such as cold calling, email outreach, and social selling (primarily LinkedIn).
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify and target potential clients within specific industries and verticals.
  • Develop and execute effective outreach strategies to engage prospects, pique their interest, and qualify them based on pre-defined criteria.
  • Articulate compelling value propositions and tailor communication to address the specific needs and pain points of potential customers.
  • Skillfully navigate objections and address concerns to move prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Schedule qualified appointments and meetings for the sales team, ensuring a seamless handover and maximizing conversion opportunities.
  • Meticulously maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities within the CRM system (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
  • Collaborate effectively with the sales team to ensure alignment on target accounts, messaging, and overall sales strategy.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in sales development and lead generation.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified leads and appointments set.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the SaaS industry is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with specific sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN Selling, Challenger Sale) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of lead scoring and qualification frameworks.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Sales Development Representative, or a similar role focused on B2B lead generation and appointment setting.

 

Skills:

  • Proven track record of success in lead generation, appointment setting, and exceeding sales targets within a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and different methodologies, particularly outbound sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) to manage leads, track interactions, and generate reports.
  • Experience with email automation tools (Outreach.io, Salesloft, Mailchimp, etc.) to streamline outreach efforts and improve efficiency.
  • Proficiency in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator for targeted prospecting and lead generation.
  • Familiarity with dialers & VoIP tools (Aircall, RingCentral, etc.) for efficient call management and tracking.
  • Experience with data enrichment tools (ZoomInfo, Lusha, Clearbit, etc.) to enhance lead data and improve targeting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs) and reporting & analytics tools (Tableau, Excel, Power BI).
