We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative to join our sales team at Medbillz. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for making a positive impact in the healthcare industry. As an SDR, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, engaging with potential clients, and building relationships that lay the foundation for successful sales conversions.
- Conduct proactive outbound prospecting through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events to identify potential leads within the healthcare industry.
- Qualify and assess the needs of potential leads through effective questioning and active listening, understanding their pain points, challenges, and objectives related to revenue cycle management.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted strategies for lead generation and engagement, aligning efforts with overall sales goals.
- Utilize CRM and sales tools to document and track all interactions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of leads, conversations, and progress.
- Schedule and coordinate introductory calls and meetings between potential clients and Account Executive, ensuring a smooth transition of leads to the sales pipeline.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to effectively communicate the value proposition of Medbillz's services.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and qualification, contributing to the overall success of the sales team
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required).
- 2-4 years of proven experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably within the healthcare or technology sector.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with potential clients.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools for tracking and managing leads (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, etc.).
- Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and a genuine passion for contributing to the healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of medical billing processes and revenue cycle management is a plus.
- Willingness to adapt and learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
