Description:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will identify and engage potential clients through multiple outbound channels, including LinkedIn outreach, cold emailing (via Apollo.io and similar tools), and cold calling. Your goal is to generate interest, educate prospects about our offerings, and schedule qualified meetings for our Account Executives or founders. This is a high-impact role with direct influence on our sales pipeline growth and overall company success.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Research and identify target prospects using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, and other data enrichment tools. Build and maintain lead lists based on Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs).Outbound Outreach: Execute high-volume, personalized outreach campaigns via LinkedIn, cold email, and cold calls.Craft compelling messaging sequences tailored to each segment or persona.Qualification & Engagement: Engage with inbound and outbound leads, understand their needs, and qualify them according to set criteria.Educate prospects on our services and value propositions. Meeting Booking: Schedule discovery calls and product demos for Account Executives or senior sales staff. Ensure seamless handover of leads with detailed notes and CRM updates.CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions in our CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive, etc.).Track KPIs and campaign performance, and suggest improvements for better results. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align messaging, share insights, and optimize outreach strategies. Provide feedback on target market trends and campaign performance.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in outbound B2B sales, preferably in a software development environment.Hands-on experience with LinkedIn outreach, Apollo.io, cold emailing, and cold calling.Strong knowledge of sales automation and CRM platforms.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proven ability to generate leads and consistently hit or exceed KPIs.Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.A growth mindset and willingness to experiment and learn from failures.
