We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Associate to join our dynamic team for a Canada based Marketing firm. As a key member of the sales pipeline, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and qualifying restaurant leads to help drive our customer acquisition goals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves talking to people, and is excited about making an impact in the food-tech space.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Sourcing: Proactively identify potential restaurant partners through various online channels, including Google, Yelp, Instagram, and business directories.
- Data Management: Maintain and update lead information in spreadsheets or CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and effective tagging for segmentation.
- Cold Outreach: Initiate contact with leads via phone, email, or social media direct messages. Craft and deliver persuasive messages that spark interest in Lunchbox’s platform.
- Lead Qualification: Evaluate leads based on predefined criteria to prioritize those with high conversion potential.
- Demo Booking: Secure scheduled demo calls for qualified leads with the onboarding or account executive team.
- Follow-Ups: Execute consistent follow-up sequences to re-engage cold or unresponsive prospects.
- CRM Logging: Keep meticulous records of all interactions, lead statuses, and next steps in the CRM to ensure clear pipeline visibility.
- Market Feedback: Gather and report insights on lead behavior, objections, and market trends to support continuous improvement of the outreach strategy.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles (restaurant tech or SaaS experience is a plus).
- Strong communication skills — written and verbal — with a persuasive and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and handling rejection in a fast-moving environment.
- Passion for restaurants, food technology, or startup environments is a bonus.
