Retail Pharmacist

Description:

Kausar Medico, a leading pharmacy chain in Karachi, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Retail Pharmacist to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will be responsible for patient counseling, prescription verification, medicine dosage checking, billing, customer service, and overall store operations.

Additionally, the role requires research and calculations proficiency to conduct R&D for new pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Patient Counseling: Provide accurate guidance on medication usage and safety.
✅ Prescription Verification: Ensure correct medicine dispensing and dosage compliance.
✅ Billing & Customer Service: Handle transactions and attend to customer inquiries.
✅ Store Operations: Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure regulatory compliance.
✅ Compounding & Research: Conduct R&D on new pharmaceutical items and prepare customized formulations such as creams, lotions, syrups, and ointments.

Requirements:

✔ Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
✔ Compounding skills (creams, lotions, syrups, ointments)
✔ Pharmaceutical knowledge & syrup preparation expertise
✔ Strong attention to detail & accuracy in dispensing medications
✔ Understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
✔ Excellent communication & customer service skills
✔ Prior industry experience is a plus
