Regional Sales Manager

 

Description:

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing sales operations within a designated geographical area to achieve company sales objectives. You will lead a team of sales representatives, set targets, implement sales strategies and ensure excellent customer service to foster strong client relationships. The role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking and a deep understanding of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

· Managing, training and providing overall guidance to the sales team of an assigned territory

· Setting reasonable sales targets to be achieved by the sales team in accordance to the organization’s goals

· Monitor team performance and provide guidance, coaching and motivation to drive productivity

· Meeting & exceeding sales targets for the assigned territories

· Managing the entire sales cycle from prospection to successful closure

· Develop and implement strategic sales plans to acquire new customers

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders

· Address customer issues and complaints promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

· Collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management

· Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness

· Utilizing outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales

· Stay updated with industry trends, market activities and competitor’s strategies and devise a plan accordingly

· Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing or related field (master’s degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a similar industry or role
  • Minimum 5- 7 years of experience in Merchant Acquiring.
  • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead a high-performance sales team
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Office
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to implement successful sales strategies
  • Willingness to travel within the designated area
