Description:
The Recruitment Manager will be responsible for accelerating our hiring process by sourcing and engaging high-caliber talent, with a strong focus on headhunting and ensuring the right cultural and skill fit for our organization. This role will also play a pivotal part in improving employee retention through strategic initiatives and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in UK recruitment, deep knowledge of UK labor laws, and a proven track record in talent acquisition and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition and Headhunting:
- Develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan to attract top talent for various roles within ConnectX Services.
- Utilize advanced headhunting techniques to identify and engage passive candidates through professional networks, industry databases, and platforms like LinkedIn.
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline to reduce time-to-hire and address current and future staffing needs.
End-to-End Recruitment:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job advert creation, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, candidate profiles, and selection criteria to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience to enhance ConnectX Services’ employer brand.
Retention Strategies:
- Design and implement initiatives to improve employee retention, such as career development programs, employee engagement activities, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Analyze turnover trends and develop actionable strategies to address retention challenges.
Compliance with UK Labor Laws:
- Ensure all recruitment processes comply with UK employment regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in UK labor laws and best practices to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
Data-Driven Recruitment:
- Leverage recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, retention rates) to optimize hiring processes and report on performance to senior leadership.
- Use applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other tools to streamline recruitment workflows.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Director HR and other senior leaders to align recruitment strategies with business objectives.
- Provide guidance and training to hiring managers on effective interviewing and selection techniques.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience, with at least 3 years in the UK market.
- Proven expertise in talent headhunting and sourcing passive candidates for mid-to-senior-level roles.
- In-depth knowledge of UK labor laws, including the Employment Rights Act 1996, Equality Act 2010, and GDPR compliance.
- Demonstrated success in improving employee retention through strategic initiatives.
- Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
