Quality Assurance Officer

Mohkam Furniture, a premium furniture manufacturing company established in 1974, is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join their team in Lahore. This full-time role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about quality control, meticulous in their approach, and eager to contribute to maintaining the highest standards in premium furniture production.

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all products meet internal and external quality standards, minimizing defects, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Working closely with the production and design departments, the QA Officer will be expected to monitor processes, identify quality issues, and implement improvements in alignment with best practices in the furniture industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process furniture items, and final products to ensure they meet quality specifications.

• Identify defects and non-conformities in products and report them with corrective action plans.

• Collaborate with production teams to implement quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process.

• Maintain and update quality assurance documentation and inspection reports.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards.

• Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and recommend solutions for process improvement.

• Provide feedback and training to production staff on quality procedures and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Industrial Engineering, Wood Technology, or Quality Management).

• 2–3 years of proven experience in quality assurance within the furniture or wood industry.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify product flaws and discrepancies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.

• Familiarity with QA tools, inspection techniques, and documentation standards.
