Quality Assurance Manager

Description:

Yunus Textile Mills Ltd., a leading name in the textile industry, is seeking an experienced Manager QA (Quality Assurance) to join its quality leadership team at its Landhi facility in Karachi. This role is ideal for professionals who have a deep understanding of quality assurance systems, client expectations, and production standards, and who are committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

The Manager QA will play a critical role in leading inspections, maintaining customer quality standards, and ensuring that corrective actions are taken where necessary. The candidate should have the ability to effectively communicate between internal production teams and client quality departments, ensuring alignment and compliance at every stage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage Final Random Inspections (FRI) for various client accounts to ensure adherence to quality expectations.

• Implement and maintain customer-specific quality standards, ensuring they are met throughout the production lifecycle.

• Perform root cause analysis and initiate Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans in collaboration with the Senior Manager QA.

• Act as a quality liaison between the production floor and client quality teams, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of issues.

• Participate in Pre-Production (PP) and Top of Production (TPR) meetings to validate readiness and alignment with customer quality expectations.

• Ensure proper equipment calibration and readiness for inspections and quality assessments.

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by conducting regular GEMBA walks, identifying gaps, and initiating improvement plans.

• Maintain detailed performance reporting on quality KPIs and initiate improvements to meet targets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (Textile Engineering, Industrial Management, or similar).

• 6–10 years of experience in a quality assurance leadership role, preferably in the textile or manufacturing sector.

• Deep understanding of international quality standards and customer compliance requirements.

• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve issues under tight deadlines.

• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
