Quality Assurance Lead

Description:

Vertex IT Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead to join its team at the Lahore office (Gulberg 2). This role is perfect for an individual who is passionate about ensuring software quality at all stages of development and can lead a team of QA engineers toward delivering high-quality, defect-free software products.

As a QA Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and delivery of software testing, guiding the team through both manual and automation testing practices. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure that every product release meets the highest quality standards.

This is an onsite position with evening/night shift hours, suitable for professionals accustomed to international client timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, managing day-to-day QA operations and task assignments.

• Develop and implement QA strategies, plans, and processes for manual and automated testing.

• Coordinate with development teams to ensure proper understanding of project requirements.

• Create, review, and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts.

• Execute test cases and track bugs using test management tools.

• Ensure product quality through performance testing, regression testing, and integration testing.

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and product demos.

• Maintain QA documentation and ensure alignment with best practices and standards.

• Provide timely feedback and detailed QA reports to the development and project teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong leadership and team management skills in a QA environment.

• Hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing tools and techniques.

• Familiarity with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.

• Proficient in writing and maintaining test scripts and cases.

• Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Working Hours:

🕕 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (Monday to Friday)
