The role
We're seeking motivated, highly responsive Quality Assurance Lead to undertake:
- Quality assurance policies, testing & verification processes for in-house developed applications
- Mentoring of junior software engineers and developers on quality software development
- Analyze, design and determine test scripts, automation and integration activities
- Knowledge of overall architecture of the application and its development
- Maintain traceability of tests/bugs as per requirements and specifications
- Create test strategies
- Create, prioritise, and organise test cases into logical suites for both automated and manual execution
- Keep track of releases and builds
- Utilize QA best practices, patterns and processes within the team
- Work in close collaboration with Technical PMs for better understanding of the overall technical architecture
About you:
You are an individual who have:
- Solid understanding of project management, collaboration and quality assurance tools like JIRA, MyCollab and SVN
- A good know-how of Business Process Analysis and Modeling is preferred
- Working experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions is preferred
- Expertise in software QA methodologies
- Working experience with Agile methodologies
- Solid problem solving/troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- ·Experience of modeling and testing methodologies to validate product design, specifications and compliance according to the defined quality standards
- Working experience with build servers like Jenkins
- Hands-on experience on automated testing tools e.g. Selenium, TestingWhiz etc.
- Experience of leading a team of QA Engineers in challenging and aggressive situations
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors/ Masters in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in QA
