As we expand our presence in South Asia, we are looking for a dedicated Mid-level QA Engineer who is passionate about AI and quality assurance in software development. Responsibilities:
- Develop a detailed understanding of our application features and operational capabilities, with a strong focus on AI-driven functionalities.
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools to ensure high-quality software solutions.
- Manage both manual and automated testing environments, focusing on the robustness of web applications.
- Collaborate with product development teams to understand product visions and specifications to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Integrate advanced QA practices into the CI/CD pipeline primarily on AWS, optimizing for performance and scalability.
- Utilize AI techniques to enhance testing processes, including the use of OCR for document verification and machine learning models for predictive testing.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in QA, AI, machine learning, and travel technology sectors, applying innovative ideas to enhance platform reliability and user experience.
- Participate in design and code reviews to identify potential issues and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance with a strong understanding of test methodologies and software release cycles.
- Experience in developing and executing automation scripts, and working with software development tools and methodologies.
- Experience with AWS services, particularly in implementing and maintaining QA environments.
- Familiarity with web application testing and frameworks such as Jenkins, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, JMeter etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
