Qa Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Engineer with at least 2 years of professional experience in software testing. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, a solid understanding of QA methodologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with developers & product managers to understand requirements and design test plans.

Write, maintain, and execute test cases (manual and/or automated).

Identify, log, and track bugs in issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web and/or mobile platforms.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in software QA or a related role.

Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).

Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright (a plus, but not mandatory).

Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and testing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
