Key deliverables:
The duties and responsibilities are given as follow:
Project Planning:
· With guidance from project manager, initiate planning for project (operational planning, budgeting).
· Participating actively in developing project proposals and project documentation.
· Working with the project manager to develop concept papers, prepare proposals and implementation work plans (including log frames, activity schedules, monitoring and evaluation schedules) for submission to major donors.
Project Implementation:
· Coordinate with the team to conduct capacity building trainings for project team.
· Supporting the project manager in all aspects of the programme implementation and development as requested.
· Establish monitoring and evaluation systems including indicators
· Actively assist and participate in project events (meetings/workshops/trainings)
· Undertake other program administration tasks as and when necessary
Project Monitoring and Evaluation:
· Be responsible for monitoring and supervision of activities implemented in the project’s sites to ensure effective implementation.
· Supervising and recording project activities expenditure against budget
· Visit project sites on a regular basis
· Participate in project review periodically
· Participate in planning for transfer / transition of achievements
Competencies:
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or Business Administration or Social Sciences from HEC recognized university.
Experience:
3-5 years experience in managing small to medium sized projects.
