Project Manager

ZAPTA Technologies is seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Technical Project Manager who can drive software projects from concept through execution. This role demands strong leadership, clear communication, and a solid understanding of software development processes. As a key player in our growing team, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, track deliverables, and serve as the central communication hub between stakeholders and developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project planning and execution for web, mobile, or SaaS-based products

• Collaborate closely with development teams, designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and deliverables

• Manage project timelines using tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana, and ensure on-time delivery within defined budgets

• Regularly communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to internal teams and clients

• Translate technical and business requirements into clear documentation for all stakeholders

• Identify and resolve issues, bottlenecks, and potential delays proactively

• Conduct sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrum environment

• Support the technical team by removing obstacles and ensuring smooth progress throughout all phases of development

• Drive continuous improvement in project execution and team collaboration

• Ensure that project goals align with business objectives and deliver high-value outcomes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Project Management, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on project management experience in a software/tech company

• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and sprint-based development

• Proficiency in using project management tools (Jira, ClickUp, Trello, etc.)

• Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

• Tech-savvy background with the ability to discuss requirements and issues with developers effectively

• Leadership qualities and team motivation skills are essential
