Digital DirAction is in search of HL7 Programmers to work on projects for our esteemed US-based client. As an HL7 Programmer, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing our interoperability solutions. We invite you to be part of our dynamic team and contribute to our global initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain HL7 interfaces using various integration engines/tools.
- Work closely with our US-based client, healthcare IT vendors, and internal teams to establish and refine data exchange requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HL7 interface issues, ensuring smooth and reliable data flow.
- Ensure strict adherence to HL7 standards (V2.x, V3, CDA, FHIR) and other relevant industry regulations.
- Document all interface specifications, configurations, and mapping transformations comprehensively.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proven experience with HL7 standards, particularly v2.x, v3, CDA, and FHIR.
- Hands-on experience with integration engines, with familiarity in tools such as Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, LIMSABC etc.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare workflows and familiarity with major EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems.
- Proficiency in pertinent programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.
- Solid foundation in SQL and database management techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- HL7 certification or any other relevant training credentials.
- Proficiency in working with web services, including RESTful and SOAP.
