Program Coordinator

Description:

Under the Direction of the Chairperson and General Manager, the Program coordinator will strive to achieve a high level of program performance, program planning and effective management. The incumbent will oversee the planning, coordination, and successful execution of KKAWF programs, sponsorship, and external collaborations. The jobholder must be a confident self-starter with strong ability and behaviour to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced administrative support and inputs in the preparation of programme work plans, budgets, and proposals on program implementation arrangements;
• Ability to build and maintain partnerships with wide networks of stakeholders, Governments, civil society, media and private sector partners, experts and others
• Lead on managing program events, visits, workshops, and supporting on away days, etc.
• Liaising with media and writing of press releases.
• Ensure administrative and logistical arrangements are made efficiently and effectively to achieve desired results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in social sciences or other related field; Master’s preferred in any field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a high-paced (NGO) environment is a plus.
