🛠️ Role Overview
As Deputy Manager Production (Form), you will play a key role in ensuring smooth production operations by leading daily to weekly plans, coordinating across teams, and driving efficiency on the shop floor.
📌 Key Responsibilities
Develop & execute daily/weekly production plans with the Planning Department.
Coordinate with Unit-4 supervisors for emergency orders, safe stock levels, slitting plans, and scrap recycling.
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials in collaboration with Maintenance, Planning & Stores.
Address production issues, escalate critical matters, and align with QA teams for corrective actions.
Minimize wastage of raw materials, manpower, and steam consumption while identifying cost-reduction opportunities.
Maintain discipline, attendance, and departmental efficiency.
Keep accurate production records, analyze B-Quality reports, and present insights to management.
Support R&D initiatives and share findings with GM Operations.
🎓 Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 5–6 years in a manufacturing & production environment.
