Description:
Manage product design, development, and assembly to ensure products meet functional, aesthetic, quality, and cost requirements, while bridging design, engineering, and production for efficient market delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate technical drawings and complete Bills of Materials (BOMs) in line with design specifications, manufacturing feasibility, and quality standards.
- Develop, assemble, and validate prototypes according to approved designs, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with defense standards.
- Enhance product designs through functional improvements, material research, and sustainable design practices.
- Research and propose innovative concepts for new product development and portfolio expansion. Minimum of 3 new product concepts or enhancements annually.
- Oversee manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure alignment with design intent, quality benchmarks, and cost efficiency.
- Identify and implement process and technology improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency, precision, and product finishing quality.
- Conduct quality inspections on prototypes and production output to ensure consistent compliance with quality and defense requirements.
- Coordinate effectively between design, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution across all project stages.
- Monitor, support, and train the production workforce on design and manufacturing protocols to improve efficiency and skill development.

Job Specifications & Skills
- 4–5 years of experience in product design and assembly
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards
