Procurement Officer

 

Description:

Key deliverables: The ideal candidate will perform the following deliverables with efficiency and effectiveness.

 

· Responsible for evaluating vendors, products, and services, negotiating (Quotations), and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.

· Overseeing and supervising procurement field (Staff) and ongoing activities of procurement.

· Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, (Supplies and hire services).

· Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.

· Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, products and services to be purchased.

· Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.

· Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.

· Maintaining good supplier relations

· Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.

· Preparing cost analyses, and reports related to vendors, store/inventory/fix assets.

· Verify the contents of Purchase Order in respect of calculation of Qty.(Rates) and terms and condition.

· Follow up the purchase order till the delivery of items and invoices of supplier.

· Ensure the product Warranty

Work Experience:

Minimum 4 to 5 years of working experience in the relevant field. Work experience in social sector or nonprofit organizations will be preferred.
