Principal Data Engineer

Description:

Required Skills & Personal Attributes :

• Understanding of core Data Science, Data Engineering and Data Management principles

• Familiar with a variety of structured and unstructured data sources and storage formats (APIs, Databases, Web-based, File-based). Proficiency in Excel, SQL and Python. Sound knowledge of ETL and database concepts

• Able to collaborate with both technical and non-technical staff

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Willing and able to adapt to new tools and technologies

• Knowledge of time-tracking/project management tools

• Experience with documentation and knowledge management

• Familiar with base Python and common data science libraries such as Pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn. Familiar with ML/DL models, including model design trade-offs, deployment, and fine-tuning

• Familiar with Git, version control practices and SDLC

• Familiarity with Cloud technologies is a plus
