Pricing And Costing Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and financially savvy Pricing & Costing Analyst to join our client logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience in pricing and cost modeling specific to freight operations.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Analyze and prepare cost estimates for air, sea, and land freight services.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies while ensuring profitability.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to respond to rate inquiries.
• Review and interpret freight rate sheets and vendor contracts.
• Track and analyze shipping costs, margins, and customer profitability.
• Maintain updated records of pricing structures and costing models.
• Support month-end reporting with cost and revenue analysis.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and pricing efficiencies.
  
   

Requirements:
 

• Bachelors or Masters in Finance / Accounting (MBA, ACCA, CMA preferred)
• 1+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding
• Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)
• Strong understanding of freight operations and Incoterms
• Analytical thinker with attention to detail
• Good communication skills for cross-functional coordination
• Willingness to work in night shift
