Power Bi Technical Lead

Description:

Scope Of Responsibility:

Creating dashboards, KPI scorecards, reports and analysing data using Azure SQL database and Power BI.

Experience in creating dashboards and reports utilizing the features in Power BI e.g. bookmarks and drill-through.

Writing complex T-SQL code.

Expert in Power Query, DAX calculations and queries.

ETL and data warehouse working experience.

Experience in implementing row level security on data and have understanding of application security layer model's in Power BI.

Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like service (SaaS), or by API automation. Also, developing custom visuals for Power BI.

Knowledge of Web portals, data models and management.

System integration experience using programming language e.g. .Net

Skills & Competencies:

Experience in data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects.

Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Stack having Azure tool set, Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS.

Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS, and other JavaScript libraries.

In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.

Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Web portal development experience.

Strong knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Lake, SQL data warehouse, Visual Studio, etc.
