Description:
Cinnova Technologies is looking for a skilled BI Developer with solid core concepts in Business Intelligence and hands-on experience with Power Platform tools. The ideal candidate should be capable of designing, developing, and deploying interactive reports, dashboards, applications to support business decision-making.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Transform raw data into meaningful insights using Power BI data modelling and DAX.
- Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy and security.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in data analysis, data visualization, and presentation of findings.
- Work closely with data engineers and other stakeholders to integrate data sources.
Requirements:
- 3 - 4 years of professional experience in BI development.
- Strong understanding of core BI concepts, data modelling, and data visualization techniques.
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX.
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize report performance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform
- Canvas Apps development
- Custom workflows using Power Automate
- Model-driven app development (Optional)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse
- Familiarity with other reporting tools or programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python)
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
