Power Automate Lead Developer

Description:

A senior-level architect specializing in Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and intelligent automation who can design, build, and deploy autonomous agents that interface with email, Teams, supplier workflows, and enterprise systems (SAP/Ariba, Salesforce).

The candidate must be able to take high-level business requirements and independently translate them into a functioning solution.

This person will be the primary technical lead for a global Supplier Support Agent project.

Core Technical Skills (Must-Have)

1. Copilot Studio

• Designing orchestrator agents
• Building multi-step reasoning flows
• Creating and refining intent models
• Tuning confidence thresholds and guardrails
• Integrating external knowledge bases (SharePoint, PDF, SOP libraries)
• Handling autonomous vs. supervised response logic
• Complex branching for Tier 1/Tier 2/Tier 3 issues

This role requires someone who has already delivered enterprise bots, not someone learning the platform on the fly.

2. Power Automate (Advanced)

The candidate must be highly fluent in:

• Parsing shared mailbox emails
• Triggering triage flows
• Adaptive Card actions (Approve/Reject/Route) in Teams
• Robust error-handling and logging
• Timers, escalations, auto-close logic
• Calling REST APIs (SAP/Ariba, Salesforce)
• Transforming JSON
• Creating reusable components/child flows

They should be able to build production-grade flows — not brittle prototypes.

3. Dataverse Architecture

• Designing case management tables
• Modeling status transitions
• Creating audit tables for agent actions
• Implementing row-level security
• Understanding low-code governance

This person should know model-driven app design, even if lightly, for the support console.

4. Teams Integration

• Creating adaptive card–driven workflows
• Posting triage summaries
• Creating oversight dashboards
• Approvals and escalations directly from Teams

Teams is the supervision layer; they must be comfortable building inside it.

5. Bonus (Nice-to-Haves)

These aren’t mandatory but will accelerate delivery:

• Experience with SAP Ariba integrations
• Building connectors for external systems
• Power BI reporting for triage systems
• Salesforce integration experience
• Experience with large-scale onboarding or customer support workflows
