Personal Tax Specialist

Experience: Minimum 2 years UK based experience. Johnson Smith and Co is looking for an experienced Personal Tax Accountant to join our team Key Responsibilities: • Manage a portfolio of clients, preparing Partnership and Self-Assessment Tax Returns • Deal with loss relief claims, pension charges and capital gains tax reliefs • Liaise with clients and HM Revenue & Customs regarding tax and account queries • Support the wider team with tax administration tasks and draft tax advisory assignments • Review simple tax returns, plan work, and delegate to Tax Assistants Requirements: • ACCA/CA qualified or near to completion (or experience equivalent) • Minimum 2 years' experience of providing accounting services to UK clients • Relevant experience in a similar tax role with a positive 'can-do' attitude • A willingness to develop your tax knowledge and lead your professional learning • Good level of numerical, written English, communication and team working skills
