Description:
The People Advisor plays a pivotal role in advancing the company's People Strategy through top-notch administrative support for the organization. The People Advisor’s responsibilities encompass the implementation of essential HR/ ER processes within their specific functional domain. Additionally, the People Advisor serves as an advocate for the company culture, driving industrial peace and striving to foster a positive and enriching experience for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the People & Employee Relations Partner in managing the full spectrum of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, terminations, compliance, reporting, performance appraisals, and compensation reviews
- Assist in driving employee engagement initiatives while ensuring compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and best practices to maintain a positive and compliant workplace culture
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee queries on HR policies and procedures, including compensation, benefits, leave policies, payroll, performance management, HR systems, and other employee lifecycle matters
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for third-party (white- and blue-collar) employees, in collaboration with vendors and hiring managers
- Oversee the processing and validation of monthly vendor payroll invoices, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation in coordination with Finance and vendors
- Plan, coordinate, and support a variety of employee engagement activities in collaboration with internal stakeholders to enhance employee experience, motivation, and retention
- Promote usage of the Employee HR Portal by guiding employees in accessing HR knowledge content, including global/local policies, procedures, and FAQs
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on using Workday and other HR platforms, encouraging effective adoption of self-service capabilities
- Drive the organization’s inclusion agenda by supporting and coordinating hiring initiatives for instance, people with diverse abilities in alignment with DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) goals
- Cascade and communicate HR updates, policy changes, and announcements to relevant teams and office locations to ensure alignment and awareness
- Accurately execute HR transactions in Workday and other HR systems, maintaining high standards of data quality and integrity
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and supporting initiatives to streamline and standardize HR processes
Who we are looking for:
- Relevant experience (4 years+) in Human Resources preferably in Employee Relations or related fields
- Knowledge of Pakistan labour laws as well as a strong foundation and understanding of HR principles, practices, and legal compliance requirements
- Experience in resolving employee relations issues
- Great collaboration and communication skills
- Fluency in written and verbal English
- Experience in Workday or other HRIS is preferred
- Open to travel for work purposes
- Qualification - Bachelors, HRM majors preferred
