Alpha Corp is Seeking a Skilled Penetration Tester to Join Our Growing Team!
What you will do:
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across web applications, servers, and services.
- Identify, analyze, and exploit security weaknesses in controlled environments.
- Conduct web application security testing using industry-standard tools.
- Perform reverse engineering and binary analysis to uncover deep vulnerabilities.
- Develop and execute custom scripts for testing using C++ and Python.
- Simulate real-world cyberattacks to evaluate system defenses.
- Document findings clearly and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and methodologies.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to strengthen system security.
What you bring to the Table:
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for scripting and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with low-level embedded frameworks and web applications.
- Proven ability to conduct security assessments across servers and services.
- Experience with industry tools such as:
- Ghidra and Binary Ninja (Reverse Engineering)
- Burp Suite (Web Security Testing)
- Solid understanding of network protocols, system architecture, and security principles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent reporting and communication abilities.
- A passion for ethical hacking and continuous learning.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant certifications, such as OSCP, CEH, or similar, are highly desirable
- FedRamp Ghidra and OWASP-based tools knowledge is a huge plus point
