​ABOUT THE ROLE:
Innovative Engineering C&S (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a Draftsman / Detailer to support our PEB shed projects by preparing detailed shop drawings, erection drawings, and material take-offs based on structural designs provided by the design engineer. This role is critical to ensuring the production and site erection teams have accurate, buildable drawings.

​KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

​Prepare detailed shop drawings for primary and secondary steel members based on structural design inputs.

​Prepare erection drawings and layout plans for site assembly teams.

​Generate Bills of Materials (BOM) and cut lists for production purposes.

​Incorporate connection details, bolt patterns, and fabrication tolerances accurately into drawings.

​Coordinate with the structural engineer to resolve drawing queries and incorporate design revisions.

​Maintain drawing revision control and documentation for each project.

​Support site supervisors by clarifying drawing details during erection as needed.

​REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

​Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Drafting/Detailing.

​2–4 years of experience in structural steel detailing, ideally in PEB or industrial shed projects.

​Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D detailing); familiarity with Tekla Structures or similar 3D detailing software is a strong plus.

​Understanding of steel connection types, bolted/welded joints, and standard fabrication practices.

​PREFERRED SKILLS:

​Ability to read and interpret structural calculation sheets from the design engineer.

​Experience preparing BOMs and coordinating with production teams.

​Attention to detail, especially around dimensional accuracy and fabrication tolerances.
