Pattern Master

Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Pattern Master role based in Sialkot. The Pattern Master will develop accurate patterns for sportswear, activewear, and casualwear styles, ensuring proper fit, grading, and construction across size ranges. Responsibilities include interpreting tech packs, sketches, and measurements, creating base patterns, and applying adjustments to align with client specifications and brand standards. The role involves coordinating closely with the sampling, cutting, and production teams to resolve fit or construction issues, approve pre-production samples, and optimize fabric usage. The Pattern Master will maintain pattern libraries, update patterns based on feedback or design changes, and support quality control by identifying and correcting pattern-related problems during trial and bulk runs.
Qualifications

• Strong technical pattern-making skills for knits and wovens, with hands-on experience in sportswear, activewear, and casualwear.
• Proficiency in pattern-making software and/or CAD systems, and familiarity with grading rules and size charts for international markets.
• Solid understanding of garment construction, stitching techniques, seam allowances, and fabric behavior (stretch, drape, shrinkage).
• Ability to read and interpret tech packs, sketches, measurements, and client specifications with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating with sampling, cutting, and production teams to resolve fit issues, improve efficiency, and reduce material waste.
• Strong measurement, fit evaluation, and problem-solving skills, including sample review, pattern corrections, and documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities, with a structured, organized approach to pattern library management and record-keeping.
• Relevant diploma or certification in Pattern Making, Fashion Design, Garment Technology, or a related field; prior experience in a sportswear or apparel factory is highly preferred.
