Description:
As a Patient Support Coordinator, you will work closely with healthcare providers to accurately document patient encounters, ensuring timely and precise entries into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Your role will be essential in streamlining patient-provider interactions and supporting the efficiency of medical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document patient encounters, medical history, exams, diagnoses, treatment plans, and more.
- Input accurate and timely notes into the EMR system during or immediately following patient visits.
- Support providers by managing and updating patient records, charts, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy standards at all times.
- Review patient information and history to ensure completeness before provider consultation.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to clarify information when needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare (preferred in a related field such as MBBS, BDS, Pharm-D, nursing, biology, etc.).
- Prior experience as a Medical Scribe or in a similar clinical documentation role is preferred.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and strong typing skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, detail-oriented settings.
