Oracle Database Administrator

Description:

1. Perform systems maintenance (Oracle RDMBS, Oracle OEM) and Systems Administration for the test and development of lifecycle environments.

2. Performance Tuning (Oracle Database 19c/20c)

3. Database migrations, patching, cloning, backup and recovery, and installation of Oracle COTS software.

4. Perform daily system health checks and monthly performance metrics to publish reports.

5. Support documentation needs for Oracle R12

6. Installation/upgrades for database

7. Cloning/backup / restore

8. Monitoring/trouble shooting / performance tuning

9. Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)

10. Linux (multiple different flavors) including shell scripting

11. Working with Oracle Support for SRs

12. Installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products.

13. Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures.

14. Take care of the Database design and implementation.

15. Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).

16. Work as part of a team and provide 24×7 support when required

17. Perform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to clients.

18. Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.

19. Patch Management and Version Control.

20. Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
