Description:
The Instructional Designer/Facilitator, Onboarding role is a lead role on the onboarding facilitation team that reports to the Sales Onboarding Program Manager. You will specialize in not only delivering training content to new team members but also responding to requests from stakeholders & leading initiatives to keep the program’s curriculum relevant & engaging.
Ideally, you’ve had experience working in or helped develop an onboarding program that delivered value to new team members from the time they accepted their offer all the way through to hitting their first quota.
Responsibilities
- Deliver training to predominately entry to mid-level front-line CS & Sales staff
- Support multiple classes of new team members from their initial onboarding through their ramp period
- Coach new team members on sales strategy & process adherence as they advance through the early stages of their on-the-job experience
- Conduct exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
- Source and/or create Enablement content including but not limited to:
- Structured slide decks
- Internal Product and other “One Pagers”
- Videos (including voice over and/or webinar-style/screenshare)
- eLearning experiences
- Email Templates
- Talking Points/Scripts
- Role Plays
- Facilitator Guides
- Sales Playbooks (SOPs not included, they are out of Enablement scope)
- Schedule training sessions
- Intake facilitator requests & align with the Sales Onboarding Program Manager on strategy for launching new onboarding initiatives
Experience and Skills
- 2+ years building content and facilitating training across a multi-site sales organization
- 2+ years of progressive responsibility in Enablement, L&D or Training roles in a high growth, B2B, SaaS organization
- Experience in either expanding or working within an onboarding program that delivered value to new team members through their ramp period
- Exceptional communication (both verbally and in writing), presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in related fields.
- Solid knowledge of the latest corporate training techniques.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to build relationships and promote a work environment focused on team development and constant coaching
