Description:
Biztek Apps is looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant with strong technical capabilities and hands-on experience in Odoo. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of functional business processes and the ability to customize, develop, and deploy Odoo modules, especially Accounting, Sales, Inventory, and Purchase.
🎯 Key Functional Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical and functional solutions within Odoo.
- Implement and support core modules: Accounting, Sales, Inventory, Purchase.
- Conduct gap analysis and offer appropriate Odoo-based process enhancements.
- Train end users and prepare documentation/user manuals.
- Test modules thoroughly to ensure performance and reliability.
💻 Key Technical Responsibilities:
- Develop custom Odoo modules and modify existing ones using Python and Odoo ORM.
- Create and manage custom reports using QWeb/XML and Excel exports.
- Design and implement workflows, automated actions, and scheduled tasks.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external systems as needed.
- Debug issues in server logs, write efficient code, and ensure optimal system performance.
- Perform upgrades and migrations between Odoo versions (especially to/from v17).
✅ Required Skills & Experience:
- 1.5–2 years of hands-on experience with Odoo in both functional and technical roles.
- Strong command over Python, XML, PostgreSQL, and Odoo ORM/API.
- Experience working on Accounting, Inventory, Purchase, and Sales modules.
- Familiar with Linux-based environments, Git, and Odoo.sh (optional but preferred).
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, and optimize code independently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical users.
- Must be available for on-site night shift (7 PM – 5 AM) in Lahore.
