Nest.js + Next.js Developer

 

Description:

We’re hiring a Full Stack Developer skilled in Next.js and NestJS to help build modern, scalable, AI-powered web platforms.

You’ll build high-performance frontend experiences with Next.js and scalable backend APIs with NestJS — collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering to ship production-ready systems.

Responsibilities:

 

Frontend (Next.js / React / TypeScript)

·        Build dynamic, responsive UI using React, Hooks, and TypeScript

·        Convert Figma designs into clean, modular components

·        Optimize rendering performance and UX

·        Manage state using Redux or Context API

·        Stay current with the Next.js & React ecosystem

 

Backend (NestJS)

·        Build scalable RESTful APIs

·        Design modular backend architecture

·        Implement authentication & authorization (JWT, RBAC)

·        Work with PostgreSQL and ORMs (Prisma, TypeORM, Sequelize)

·        Optimize API performance and reliability

·        Integrate third-party services and external APIs

 

AI-Powered Development

·        Use AI-based tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or custom internal copilots to accelerate code quality and output.

·        Incorporate prompt engineering and AI code review assistance into daily development workflow.

·        Maintain high productivity by blending manual coding with AI-driven pair programming techniques.

·        Evaluate and recommend ways to integrate generative AI into the product itself when applicable

 

Testing & Performance

·        Write unit, integration, and E2E tests (Jest, Cypress, RTL)

·        Debug performance bottlenecks across frontend & backend

·        Participate in code reviews & maintain engineering best practices

 

What We’re Looking For

·        3+ years of full-stack development experience

·        Strong JavaScript (ES6+) & TypeScript skills

·        Experience with Next.js, React, and Nest.js

·        API integration experience (Stripe, SendGrid, Auth providers)

·        PostgreSQL experience (queries, joins, optimization)

·        Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Agile workflows

·        Problem-solver with strong communication skills

·        Curious, AI-native mindset

·        Prompt engineering or AI automation workflows

·        Experience integrating ML or AI features into products
