This part-time role is perfect for developers who want to contribute their expertise in backend development during evening hours while working onsite in Lahore.

As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and efficient server-side applications using cutting-edge technologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using NestJS and Node.js.

• Work with databases using PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM for efficient data management.

• Implement microservices architecture to ensure modular and scalable application design.

• Manage message brokering and event streaming with Kafka and RabbitMQ.

• Use Redis for caching and real-time data processing.

• Implement WebSocket communication for real-time application features.

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best development practices.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize application performance and reliability.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience with NestJS and Prisma ORM.

• Strong understanding of microservices patterns and distributed system architecture.

• Practical knowledge of Kafka and RabbitMQ message brokers.

• Experience with Redis for caching and message queuing.

• Familiarity with WebSocket protocols for real-time data exchange.

• Proficient in TypeScript and backend development principles.

• Ability to write scalable, clean, and well-documented code.
