Native Android Developer

Description:

KATco is looking for a talented and passionate Native Android Developer to join its mobile development team in Faisalabad. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Android development, particularly with Kotlin, and will play a key role in delivering scalable, sleek, and high-performance Android applications. You’ll be collaborating with cross-functional teams to build innovative and responsive mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Java

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver complete features

• Perform bug fixing and continuously work on improving performance

• Integrate RESTful APIs, Firebase, and third-party SDKs into mobile solutions

• Maintain high standards in code quality, and ensure application responsiveness across a wide range of Android devices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 2+ years of Android development experience (or 6+ months with strong skills and fundamentals)

• Strong command of Kotlin

• Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Google Play deployment

• Experience with Firebase, coroutines, and flows

• Knowledge of Jetpack Compose and Room (plus)

• Familiarity with mobile app architecture and lifecycle

• Comfortable using Git and version control
