Mid-level Front-end Developer

Description:

A Lahore-based company is seeking a Mid-Level Front-End Developer to join its dynamic and growing team. This is a full-time, on-site role in Shadman with working hours from 1 PM to 10 PM, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled React.js developer with a strong understanding of front-end development best practices and an eye for detail in translating Figma designs into responsive, high-performance user interfaces.

This role involves active collaboration with UI/UX designers and backend developers, implementing robust front-end features with seamless integration to RESTful APIs. The candidate must be capable of developing secure authentication flows using OAuth, JWT, or SSO protocols, and writing well-structured unit and integration tests to maintain high-quality code. Experience working in agile teams and optimizing performance for various devices and browsers is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain React.js web applications ensuring responsiveness, scalability, and maintainability

• Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect UI components

• Integrate front-end with backend APIs using REST

• Implement secure authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, SSO)

• Write maintainable tests using Jest, Mocha, or React Testing Library

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design

• Refactor and maintain legacy code for performance and best practices

• Debug and optimize performance-related issues

• Collaborate using agile tools and participate in code reviews

• Stay updated with front-end technologies and React ecosystem trends

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development, especially with React.js

• Deep knowledge of React (components, hooks, Redux/Context API, routing)

• Strong experience converting Figma designs into fully functional UIs

• Proficient in implementing secure authentication systems

• Experienced in unit and integration testing with modern frameworks

• Solid command over HTML5, CSS3, and ES6+ JavaScript

• Proficient with Git and modern version control practices

• Strong collaboration skills and agile development experience

• Performance optimization skills (code splitting, lazy loading, etc.)
