Description:
• Provide teleconsultations and home visits as a general practitioner. • Generating prescriptions and medical scribing. • Triaging and managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner, consulting and assisting patient and others contacting the center by telephone, messages and direct calls to patients online and at home. • Contacting for scheduling telemedicine consultations, act as a liaison between referring physicians, specialty physicians, clinic staff, and patients. • Informs patients of share of cost and co-pays for all types of payers; verifies coverage under insurance, managing corporate client pool • Responsible for patient registration, scheduling and billing activities for all patients seen via telemedicine. Prepare bills, check for completeness, and forward to billing personnel for processing. • Documents notes in computer regarding collections, payment arrangements, failed appointment notice, or additional conversations. • Updating patient’s information/scans in computer Database-Electronic Medical Record (EMR). • Participating in establishing Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs). • Communicating and managing labs, pharmacies and radiology services. • Provides follow-through to ensure that all issues/questions are resolved.
